19th District 2021 Legislative Session Report

My first legislative session was historic, but not for reasons I had hoped. It was the first “virtual” session ever. The majority party passed an operating budget that spends almost $60 billion – the highest operating budget in state history, and we saw a controversial income tax and climate policies passed despite bipartisan opposition. There were also some good things that came out of the session.
