Dear Friends,

I hope you have had an opportunity to review the 19th District Legislative Session Report sent out by my seatmates, Sen. Jeff Wilson, Rep. Jim Walsh and myself.

If you have not received it, I encourage you to read the electronic version below. We discuss important topics such as the majority party’s record spending, while not providing the citizens of Washington any tax relief. We provide an update on what happened with the Naselle Youth Camp, the fact that we adjourned without addressing emergency powers reform and the bills passed which threaten your Second Amendment rights.

Election-year restrictions

On Monday, May 16 the election-year restrictions begin. That means my legislative communications will be limited until the November election is certified by the Secretary of State this fall. The exception to the election-year restrictions is if the Legislature is in a special session.

It is important to note that the election-year restrictions do not restrict me from responding to your emails, phone calls, and messages. I am also not restricted from having in-person meetings with you, so please continue to reach out if you have questions, concerns or need assistance with a state government issue.

It is an honor to represent the 19th Legislative District!

Your Humble Servant,

Joel McEntire
